Review: Okay, so I know that I recently reviewed Sleepless in Seattle, but you can’t have too many films that involve Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in anyway!

Besides I love this film.

I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed by a Tom Hanks film though.

This is the perfect romance film – it’s well constructed and well acted and there is charming chemistry between Hanks and Ryan.

If you’ve previously watched this film, then you might have seen some similarities between Shop Around The Corner (which is what it was based after) and has a few similarieties to In the Good Old Summertime – both are great classics and I strongly recommend that you give them a watch as well!

This is a film that has all elements of a love story that anyone could ask for!

You have two people who meet with contradictions in their views, but soon their differences make them connect in a way that no one would expect.

And yes, even if you’ve already watched the film and gone, oh but it was so obvious, you should go into this film with an open mind and just enjoy it!

This is well constructed and well acted and I just love the charming chemistry between Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

It’s honestly so perfect and such a great film!

If you want something that is easy to follow, that has a bit of humour and romance thrown in, then this film will be perfect for you 🙂

  1. I don’t think I’ve actually seen this, even though it is from my “era” and it’s hard to believe that I didn’t. I read your review hoping that I would remember seeing it but nothing it sparking a memory so I guess I missed it! Sounds like something I can watch while I’m working since you said it’s funny and easy to follow. Thanks!
