Review: I’m going to be honest, this film wasn’t for me. Hence the two stars (you can check my rating system here if you want to see how it works).
Now having said that, there are a couple of things I did like about this film, so I’ll start with that.
When it comes to found footage films I’m always slightly wary. My general thought is that once you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. But this one was different.

It doesn’t have that annoying shaking all the time, the camera was focused for the majority of the film, except for the occasional side to side turning when people were talking. I liked that about this film.
It was a bit of a slow burner for me though, there’s not a lot of action and when the action did occur it took a long time for the next action scene to take place. There’s just a lot of talking, and talking, and talking.
I get that they were setting the scene, and making you feel like this was a real life thing, but it just didn’t work for me.
It started off exciting though – that’s a positive.

There was so much potential at the start of this film. It starts off quite creepy. It’s clearly after the events that occurred in this film. I was intrigued.
Why was she a patient, why was she screaming, what was going to happen next?
But unfortunately it falls short after this, and you just see her and her friends/work people talking and driving around.

Over 40 minutes later something exciting happens and we see a girl on the side of the road. The girl screams, they scream, it’s talked about for only 5 minutes and then nothing.
Also, they are meant to be in a pretty empty place in the world, but at this scene you can clearly see a really busy road in the distance. But that’s not really important just something I noticed.
I’m so frustrated about this film, because I saw so much potential. I seriously think that if this had been condescended into a 40 minute/one hour TV show episode it would actually be really good. But there were too many scenes of just talking and not enough was happening.
Now this is just me and maybe I’m being picky, but it just wasn’t for me. Despite there being some good things about this film.

I do have to say that the ending was really exciting. If the film could have managed to keep that level of excitement throughout then it would have been better.
But unfortunately, it just didn’t quite make the cut. But maybe that’s just me. I would love to know what other people thought of this film if they have seen it.
Maybe I’ve just completely missed the point and should give it another go? As it stands though, I don’t think I’ll be re-watching it.
The good news is that I did manage to finish it, so that’s a positive right?
Ahhh that’s a shame it wasn’t a brilliant film, I prefer films with action, as you have rightly said in your review there was hardly no action. I don’t seem interested by it sadly, on that note I don’t think its one for me. Thanks for sharing your honest thoughts though xx

Yeah, I don’t think you would like this film anyway, it’s not something you would normally watch. But I think this might be better suited for someone else. Unfortunately just wasn’t my cup of tea either. That being said, if this was shorter, like a TV episode I think it would have been quite good x
